About Me

I was in a severe car accident at age 18. (To listen to my amazing story, check out the podcast I did with local semi-celebrity Rochelle Smith from 94.9 The River, click HERE! After having an out of body near death experience, I had a broken neck, jaw, and severe cranial fracture. I had also severed all the tendons on my right arm. I was in a drug induced coma for weeks. Even with extensive surgery, the surgeons told me I would never be able to use my arm or hand in the same way again, and it would likely cause me pain for my entire life. I refused to let that be the end to my story, and sought out other solutions. After following an intense massage program I regained full use of the arm and all my fingers. Amazingly, I was also pain free without the use of drugs! I became fascinated with massage therapy and thoroughly convinced of its many benefits and went on to graduate from massage school a few years later. It became my lifelong career and passion.
Education 

I received a Certificate of Massage Therapy from Apollo College in 2006, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Science and Minor in Psychology from Boise State University in 2015. I have reached Master Level in 3 different schools of Reiki: Usui, Karuna, and Tanran. I am certified in Thai Yoga Massage and completed training in Thailand from the Mudita School of Thai Yoga Massage in 2019. I completed a Yoga Nidra training from Sage Yoga and Wellness in Boise in 2019. I became a women’s empowerment and wellness coach through Crowned For Success in 2019.

I have worked in spas, health clubs, hospice care, retirement homes, which have contributed to my in depth knowledge of various modalities, clients, and settings. All my experience has helped me to become well rounded as I continue to grow in the field of complimentary alternative medicine.
