What if you want to tell a white lie to protect someone’s feelings – does that work?

That is a good question. I too have wrestled with this situation many times, including in a recent situation with a friend. The short answer is NO. If you tell white lies – you will continue to tell lies. This is NOT the way to enlightenment and peace. My opinion is it’s best to never tell any lies. As Jesus taught us: “The truth will set you free.” So as hard as it is, especially living in Southern California under the influence of the facades of the likes of Hollywood … truth always – always – always – always! It will set you free!
