The first word is “acceptance.”
From the Daily Word: “There have been times I put my energy into resisting circumstances as they were, trying to force a desired outcome because I was afraid of losing or failing. Today, I practice acceptance. I no longer resist what I am called to do, and no longer shrink from what my life is showing me. Acceptance is easier when I remember I can draw upon the strength and power of the Spirit within me to see me through every change and challenge. I accept circumstances and withstand adversity because I am aligned with the one presence and power of the Spirit. This knowledge likely sustained Jesus in his final days. He accepted that no matter what happened in or to his earthly life, a greater life, a greater truth, was his.”
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not rely on your insight.” Proverbs 3:5
The second word is “release.”
From the Daily Word: “I am always growing. The very nature of life is change. Integral to this transformation is the clearing out of the old to make way for the new. I see examples of this throughout all aspects of life. Whether cleaning out a closet or searching my memories for long-forgotten assumptions or resentments that have hardened my heart — releasing whatever no longer supports my growth, frees me. I am meant to live as the powerful, creative, spiritual being I am. I express the power and presence of God with greater clarity and purpose when I am no longer carrying the weight of past experiences and regrets. I do not shrink to fit an outmoded version of myself. I release the past and live boldly into my brilliant future.”
“Do not remember the former things, or consider the things of the old.” – Isaiah 43:18
Before you can make the quantum leap at this opportune, indeed auspicious time, it is best to first accept yourself exactly as and where you are. You are a child of God made in his image. The second part is to release all restrictive emotions like the fear of failing and releasing debilitating emotions like anger, resentment, hatred, guilt, shame, and other issues that have held you hostage. As the adage goes, “Let go, let God.”
I know this feels like crossing a chasm, but transformation lives in the Spirit at the Soulular level. It does not reside in your intellect (head) or your emotional intelligence (heart).
I learned this lesson when I forgave my son’s killer and started a foundation to save the lives of children,
TKF, which is now in its 28th year and successfully meeting its mandate. That inspiration did not come from my intellect (although I was educated at good schools in England) or from my loving heart. It came from the Spirit – a download from a higher power – where all is possible.
Having learned this the hard way, I no longer lead from my intellect – I lead fully from my Spirit which is wiser, compassionate, and always inspires thoughts, actions, and outcomes that are in the highest good for you and the other persons in your life and the Universe as a whole.
If you go to the precipice of a chasm, your intellect will tell you there is no way you can make a quantum leap to cross over in one step. On the contrary, your spirit will confirm that not only can you make that leap when you cross over to the other side, you will also land on higher ground. That is what happened to me and it can happen to you also. Have faith in your Spirit where all things are possible.
At this auspicious time, when all the holy days have coalesced, I am digging way deeper into my Spirit as I know that I can make that quantum leap to turbo-charge my spiritual evolution. What an amazing opportunity! Do not let this important time fade away – resurrect your life to an elevated level. That is my prayer for you and the world.
Peace and many blessings!
