This was the first fundraiser of the Santa Monica Boys and Girls Club which has a 70-plus year history and operates nine clubs in the LA area serving over 4,500 kids. Tim Blaylock is now the CEO of the club. I have known him for many years when we was the CEO of the B&GC in Oxnard operating 19 clubs. I love Tim, and he is one of our champions in helping challenged youth. He is also very well respected by the National Management Team at B&GC. I trained his staff in the concepts of spirituality and restorative justice. While B&GCs do amazing work they do not have a solid offering in spirituality and restorative justice which are two of the three pillars in the CANEI program. He is interested in having me do a similar training for the Santa Monica club. I believe this presentation can be replicated at all the Boys and Girls clubs, which amount to approximately 4,000 nationally.
